For these posters crying bout us being in the lottery who the hell are we gonna get to turn the franchise around? who are ya'll clamoring so much that yall want the lottery??

theyre not clamoring for anyone.  they just want the next chapter to start.

this is a franchise that builds for championships, not playoffs berths.  If we're not in contention for a championship we need to start getting pieces that can help build us one

TP. It is time to move on. This team just cannot compete. I don't want to watch the Cs go to the playoffs to get swept. There is ZERO chance they can beat the Bulls or the Heat. Would rather grab a decent lottery pick....shed salary and start over

I think Danny realizes this

after this roadie and the extended one..i expect danny makes some moves. really nothing more to see

He absolutely does. The only way he doesn't make moves at the deadline is if he has to take on long term salary. But he harbors no illusions this team can do any playoff damage.

I think Ainge will make at least one trade for the future. Who do you guys think would be the first guy to go? I'm gonna say Ray.

Pierce will be first to go IMO. then ray...not sure anyone would want KG

This team is like watching your dog trying to live out its final years, walking around, struggling, trying to be the dog that he used to be but just doesn't have the strength or energy to do so. It's sad, and I find that I can't watch it.

Couldn't have said it better myself. And the saddest part is, I spent over 1000$ bucks at the of last year to buy row 1 tickets/hotel stay for a celtics home game in march. Im really bummed right now, especially since the trade deadline falls before when I go. This absolutely sucks.

Wow

That sucks.

Who knows, maybe he'll get to see Deron or Monta run up the court for the C's, lol.

I hope it is Ray but I fear Rondo.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Well, this won't be the worst Celtics defeat even if they replicate this horrible 1st half. We've had worse games and I don't want to talk about the worst, it's still so recent.

Doc, rest KG and the Old 3. I don't know if they'll be needed in a really important game, given all these losses. But I'd love to see them play like a team for a last run. Not tonight.

By the way, Durant is the best player in the league, offense wise, with nobody near him. But defensively, the Zombies are not a good team, although Perk and Ibaka are good defenders.
And with this Celtics defense, Deron Williams would have 30 points at the half. I'm not impressed with Westbrook, and I'd rather have Rondo than him. Cook and Harden have destroyed the Celtics, and they get no credit from the ESPN crew.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
I thought I would stay from the forum for good luck. I see that didn't work.

Bradley really tried, but Westbrook isn't Jameer Nelson.

Agree 100% he struggles against elite speed.
