Tommy's answer to the question what happened during the 30-3 run.  "Two things went wrong - the offense and the defense. "

At least they don't have special teams to worry about.  ::)
Yup

For these posters crying bout us being in the lottery who the hell are we gonna get to turn the franchise around? who are ya'll clamoring so much that yall want the lottery??

theyre not clamoring for anyone.  they just want the next chapter to start.

this is a franchise that builds for championships, not playoffs berths.  If we're not in contention for a championship we need to start getting pieces that can help build us one

This team is like watching your dog trying to live out its final years, walking around, struggling, trying to be the dog that he used to be but just doesn't have the strength or energy to do so. It's sad, and I find that I can't watch it.

****, so true.

i don't see this team finishing at .500. i don't even know what to do anymore. they make me really sad. not angry...just sad to see them go out this way
well, they make me angry.  If they were putting in an honest effort every night and playing smart basketball but still getting beat, I could live with that.  Losing due to lack of effort and playing with their heads up their collective butts is inexcusable for a team with 3 HOFers and another 2 that have been all-stars at least once.

TP. It is time to move on. This team just cannot compete. I don't want to watch the Cs go to the playoffs to get swept. There is ZERO chance they can beat the Bulls or the Heat. Would rather grab a decent lottery pick....shed salary and start over

Couldn't have said it better myself. And the saddest part is, I spent over 1000$ bucks at the of last year to buy row 1 tickets/hotel stay for a celtics home game in march. Im really bummed right now, especially since the trade deadline falls before when I go. This absolutely sucks.

I agree on this completely.  I really like Durant.  He isn't a fake nicey nice with the opponent.  Just a decent dude.

Btw, difference between Durant and other stars (like Wade/LeBron) - Durant gives Bradley dap for his dunk on him while walking over for that timeout.

Re: lack of effort - I think some of it is just age and legs. Some of our vets (esp. the Big Three) don't have their legs under them to make the rotations they usually do on offense and defense.  Many younger players have spoken about being dead tired in this compressed season...it is worse for our guys. So...I'm not sure they're giving up so much as they simply cannot get to the right spots in time.
