I have not felt like this since 2007. One bad thing after another. Two weeks ago I felt good about this team... now I want to fast forward to the next Era of Celtics championship basketball.

Can someone kill me now and put me out of my rebuilding misery...?

Celtics need to re-sign Gerald Green and trade for Bassy Telfair + Al Jefferson so we can officially move 5 years backwards.

Yup.

Yup.

But one never swims in the same river twice.

Bassy showed himself to be a competent journeyman backup PG since then, and Al Jefferson has shown he can be a consistent 20/10 guy instead of only having potential.  I'm not sure GGreen would give us less than Quisy, either, especially with that sweet 3pt stroke.

yeah, the funny thing about Simmons' tweet is that the team would actually probably be better if we could do those things.

I'd rather have Telfair than Dooling, and Green might actually be able to hit some shots, at least, which Marquis definitely can't do.  Big Al is a lot better than any big we have on our roster -- sorry, that includes KG.

At this point I wouldn't be mad at all if he traded anyone on the team except Rondo. (Unless he gets a better talent in return, which I don't think will happen). I think we should build around Rondo. Want to hear a fun team that could happen next year?

Rondo (PG) Pietrus (G) Jeff Green (SF) Josh Smith (PF) Javale McGee (C) Probably wouldn't win a ton of games, but it would be fun to watch them run up the floor and snag the lottery pick...lol

His obligational C's tweets are pretty annoying. Why doesn't he just talk about the Clips? Everyone knows that his real team.

What do you expect from him?  To tweet positive things about this horrible Celtics season?

i'm starting to think trading Rondo for DWill is what we need to do... like let's face if we had D Will we could become a favorite to land Dwight Howard. And with those two would definitely start the new era

You take basketball too seriously. And this is coming from a guy who is playing in a modified draft on a team specific blog's message board.

I loved 2007.  There was a major sense of hope in the air (before we got gut-punched with the 5th pick).

This is worse.  We have no bright side.  The cap room is a misconception.  We have no intriguing young prospects... our draft pick will probably not even be in the lotto.   This is basketball fan hell.
