  • Rondo = Good
i'm starting to think trading Rondo for DWill is what we need to do... like let's face if we had D Will we could become a favorite to land Dwight Howard. And with those two would definitely start the new era

I think the Nets would rather take a gamble with the hope that D-Will re-signs with them than trading him for Rondo.

I hear you. But I was thinking maybe near the deadline he will let them know he has no intention of staying so they can get something for him

This isn't a bad idea.  NJ has to convince 2 players to sign or they'll get none of them.  Or they can have the guaranteed Rondo for 3 years.  For them it makes sense.

I don't know, is there a falling out between Deron and the Nets?

Deron Williams is the best point guard in the league, would be better for Boston, but I see very difficult for us to get a transfer trade the Nets.

They only trade Deron if they can't trade for Dwight.  In other words, if Dwight gets traded to the Lakers, they'll probably trade Deron.  If Dwight doesn't get traded... they hang onto Deron and sign Dwight in the offseason. There is basically no realistic scenario where we get Deron and Dwight.  Neither will make it to free agency... or they will both end up in Brooklyn.

I do not think DH is traded to Lakers in the trade deadline, D-Will should look for a good team, if the Nets do not make a good team, Deron will go and look for other options.

If Dwight doesn't join him in Brooklyn, he'll be going to Dallas. Probably the worst kept secret around.
