Doc, how many times has small ball worked?
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Sad state of affairs for the Celtics in being soundly beaten by the AWFUL Detroit Pistons twice in one week.

I just don't get how anyone thinks this team can contend.

Looks like PP is in for another 38 minute night. If his buddy Toine was still around he would get 30 plus minutes. The only way doc cuts JO minutes would be to resign mark blount.

Remember when the prideful Celtics would lose to a bad team then completely destroy them the next time they played?  I miss those days...

Small ball never works. Doc is so fascinated with it though.

Looks like we conceded with 5 minutes to go.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I really do wish we'd blow it up. Watching a young team struggle and lose is a lot more interesting than watching an over the hill team do the same. My dad is saying this team is too old and he doesn't even watch basketball.  ::)

Sorry for the negativity I just couldn't hold it, today.

Maybe a Rondo suspension will smarten him up.  Plus, he may have been simply throwing the ball back to the ref, but it was a fastball and the ref wasn't ready. Not going to listen to Tommy's moronic histrionics after  the game.
