I wish they  had never started the season. They were not prepared and knew from the start that this team could not compete. Look for Danny to make changes. Big changes. Just don't take back any horrible contracts. Well I suppose we could amnesty somebody. The Celtics are simply atrocious right now. If this were Belechick and the NFL, everyone would be cut right now.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

I really do wish we'd blow it up. Watching a young team struggle and improve is a lot more interesting than watching an over the hill team do the same. My dad is saying this team is too old and he doesn't even watch basketball.  ::)

agreed trade before the march deadline + draft smart. sign 2 star free agents & decent role players

I think this team getting the 8th seed is a lofty goal.

  • KG IS THE KING
Blow it up, blow it up, that's all I see and hear. Blowing it up will happen, just not during the season. No one wants our old players. If you are the GM of any NBA team, would you trade away your promising young prospects for our old players?

Let the contracts expire at the end of the season and then we'll restart next year.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
Maybe a Rondo suspension will smarten him up.

Or a new team.

True, I do realize this which is what makes it even more frustrating.

If I was Rondo I'd feel the same way.

"Oh the team played better without you."

"Oh, you need to stop scoring so much at such an efficient level, be a facilitator."

Well, he did that, and had 8 assists and only 4 shots tonight before the ejection.. And we were getting rolled by the Pistons.

Sooo If the team is so much better without Rondo.. Why did they get run out of the gym when he left..? Why weren't we winning when he wasn't shooting...?

A lot of people thought KC Jones and Bill Fitch were below average coaches too. They both won championships because they were coaching Larry Bird and gang.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

This team is a joke and how embarrassing is it that Paul Pierce does not even deserve to be an All Star.

Isn't it crazy how coaches need good players to win!?
Nobody was Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ing about Rivers' coaching job in 2008,09, or even 10 when we made the finals..

Now, with a bunch of old stiffs, we are losing, and Doc gets some blame. lol.

Unless Rondo got more stats after his ejection it was 10 assists and 1-6 shooting.  Also a terrible 6 TO's...

Maybe a Rondo suspension will smarten him up.  Plus, he may have been simply throwing the ball back to the ref, but it was a fastball and the ref wasn't ready. Not going to listen to Tommy's moronic histrionics after  the game.
nah i saw it on the Pistons feed he cussed at the ref then flung it at him he's gonna eat a suspension tomorrow nd I wouldnt be surprised if the Pierce point forward offense has us in a close game tomorrow against the mavs
