  • Rondo = Good
right, because swapping two players who aren't likely to play more than 5-10 minutes a game in the playoffs is going to be such a difference maker.

Not only that, but Donte plays out on the perimeter and doesn't rebound all that well.  As a throw in (in a larger trade), I'd take him, but not straight up for Bradley (who has way more potential at this point).

The idea of renting Donte Green for the rest of the year to solve our rebounding problem is amusing to me. His career Rebound Percentage is 7.9%, so we'd be better off just playing Sasha if we wanted to improve our rebounding. That's how bad this trade would be for the purposes of improving our rebounding.

It seems like Ray would be an ideal fit on the Clippers this year. I don't know if there's a good fit for something to trade for but I poked around and came up with this. Maybe the rookie is too much to give up for a Ray rental? I don't know anything about him.

Bass/JO/Dooling/future 1st

for

Kaman

KG/Wilcox/JJJ
Kaman/Wilcox/Steimsma

3-big rotation for the playoffs.

Try to work JJJ and Steimsma in for 5 first-half min per game to save legs/fouls.

Minutes breakdown:

KG     28
Kaman  28
Wilcox 20
JJJ     5
Steimsma5

Perhaps by the playoffs, we're really 5 deep with size and scoring at the big spots.

And 5 deep at the wing, too:

Ray    28
Paul   28
Pietrus20
Quisy   5
Sasha   5
