Eh, Al's defense is still pretty bad.
So is Martin's

So why not Keep Scola and Lowry?

So here are the proposals:

1) Keep it 1 round per day, and run the draft through 2/28, run the risk of fatigue.

2) 2 rounds per day next week, one afternoon, one evening (like its set up now, but 5 minutes per pick instead of 10)

3) 2 rounds per day, but creating a stretched out morning session as well.

Both option 2 and 3 would end the draft 2/23.

I vote 3.

Then 1.

Because Jefferson is better then Scola.

Prefer option 2 but wouldn't care if it is option 3. Option one I don't like.

Another trade:

Jazz Trade: Al Jefferson, 7.12
Rockets Trade: Kevin Martin, 6.16
Not a bad trade for both teams. Now each team has a big man and a guard

But why didn't the Rockets just keep Scola?

Jefferson is a better player.

And taller

Win shares per 48 isn't the only measure of effectiveness, but Martin's is better than Al, both this season and career and he's only two years older.  Plus, any trade of Jefferson gives me me an extra 6 or so minutes of Millsap, who is just incredible this year.
2014 Pick 2 OKC Thunder
PG: Russell Westbrook
SG: Jeremy Lamb / Jodie Meeks
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Taj Gibson / Derrick Favors
C: Greg Monroe / Brandan Wright
7.19, 8.19, 9.19, 10.19

Real Talk, I hadn't checked his numbers so i had no idea how Scola's rebounding had dropped. But even still, Big Al's lack of defense and passing doesn't make this a slam dunk.

And like 5 years younger

Eh Scoal didn't play in the NBA for a looooong time.

But his age is showing.  (which is not good when you are only 31 years old in the NBA now a days)

I'd vote for 2 rounds a day, with two suggestions:

1. Starting closer to 1 PM (or even noon).

2. Insert an hour-long break between the two rounds, rather than in the middle of a round (as it is now).

With ten minutes between picks and an hour-long break, two rounds would run 10.5 hours.
