So far, no surprises.

I'm down on Bynum - don't think he deserved to go first. But Bosh is a very nice addition to the Spurs, even if Duncan might've appreciated more of a banger as a running mate. San Antonio already looks like a nightmare cover.

Was the best choice with the first pick for Toronto.

What else were they going to do?  But Bosh back on the team?

As for more banging, that can be added later.  The Spurs are happy to add someone who can help carry the regular season offense and play heaver minutes while they save Duncan and Manu for the playoffs.

Another trade:

Jazz Trade: Al Jefferson, 7.12
Rockets Trade: Kevin Martin, 6.16
Not a bad trade for both teams. Now each team has a big man and a guard

Edit: Upon thinking about it, if I was the Jazz I would have asked for a much higher pick than a one round boost late in the draft to compensate for trading a near 20/10 center.
have to admit I'm surprised this deal went through.  Al is worth a lot more than a KM and a swap of mid-round picks that are essentially minor players.

So here are the proposals:

1) Keep it 1 round per day, and run the draft through 2/28, run the risk of fatigue.

2) 2 rounds per day next week, one afternoon, one evening (like its set up now, but 5 minutes per pick instead of 10)

3) 2 rounds per day, but creating a stretched out morning session as well.

Both option 2 and 3 would end the draft 2/23.

option 1 due to my schedule

I'm convinced that Kevin Martin paid a bunch of mathematicians to come up with advanced stats that show him to be a great player.

I really don't see who I could've possibly selected over Bynum. Bosh and Bargnani wouldn't have worked, and Bynum IMO was the best player available and fit perfectly with my team.

I do believe Bynum will throw up some gaudy lines and open up the offense for a seemingly resurgent-before-hurt Bargs.

Agreed. The real raptors are going that valenciunas can come in and allow bargs to move to the four.

I like Bynum, he is having a very good year stat wise.

Though, you will have to convince me that he can play well and keep his cool when things get tough in the playoffs.  Last years display really hurt his value for a contender in my eyes.
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

My feeling as well. For all the flack Rondo has caught of late. I'm even less convinced that Bynum can be the best player on a successful team.

On a completely unrelated note. My very first CB Draft starting lineup:

David Lee
Rudy Fernandez
Andrew Bynum
Gilbert Arenas
Russell Westbrook

In retrospect, what a moody bunch. Sorry David.

2 good picks. I like everybody wanted Bynum. Am here to pick asap, eating my vietnemese food and channeling my inner Red.

Be interested to see this next pick - I know who I'd take, but I could see the counter.
