Marc Gasol is the second best center in the NBa.

I bet you insist that Target is totally better than Wal-Mart as well, even though you know they only bump their prices to keep poor people out.

Marc Gasol indeed.

Target is better than a regular Wal*Mart. But it is not as good as a 24 hour Super Wal*Mart.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.

I'll take the guy who scores more points, shoots a higher percentage, grabs more boards, and blocks as many shots in fewer minutes.

I'll take the guy who is more versatile offensively-- which leads to a lower percentage because he actually takes elbow jumpers-- and a significantly better passer, a guy who sacrifices his own game to make the team better but takes over when he has to, and also isn't a punk and a cheap shot artist who can play more minutes because he doesn't run the risk of a season ending injury with every half-hearted pick he sets.

But hey, to each his own. ;D

True indeed. You've gotta factor this in when evaluating the Cavs. Kobe can't keep Bynum above the fold consistently, why are the Cavs gonna have a shot of getting the best of him without also getting the rest of him?

The Underlined is the difference between a Wal*Mart and a Target, Target actually tries. Now if you could keep Bynum open 24 hours...

Wait. You're saying Walmart is better than Target?

They're the same!

It's all about teaching Bynum the difference between hard fouls and dirty fouls.  However, if he occasionally crosses that line, so be it.  We'd rather have opposing players be intimidated rather than play soft.  Drive the lane, you risk getting a collapsed lung.

Hey guys, remember that Time IP said he had the best staring 5? That was adorable.

PG: Steve Nash
SG: Dwayne Wade
SF: Danny Granger
PF: Derrick Favors
C: Marcin Gortat

6th man: Udonis Haslem.
I said this to KC in PM. I loved the trade for the Suns because they got the best player and had parts that would make that team a contender out west for years.

That said, Phoenix traded the best player in the world and possiblt came out with a more balanced and complete team and a team much better suited to compete in the east against teams like NY, Cle, Indy, and Chicago.

But doesn't Bynum, as brittle as he is, run the same risk trying to stop the guy driving the lane?

Target=Walmart with a little higher prices and less poor people.

EDIT: Which, actually I have to concede is better.

It's like comparing Andrew Bynum's number of games played per season to Marc Gasol's.  ;D

24 hour wal mart wins because $5 Movie bin at 1 AM is a great thing.

Spoken like a true progressive. ;)

I like Walmart.  Unless you're shopping for clothing, I prefer it over target.  The prices are better, and they have more stuff.  Plus, their food prices are significantly better than most grocery chains.

I can deal with a few fat ladies in sweatpants if it means equal quality and more variety for lower prices.

What about comparing Bynum's rings to Marc's?  Oh, snap.
