Yeah, maybe, this could happen ... next few weeks are going to be very exciting for the Knicks.

I've seen mentioned here how Tyson is the best defensive center in the game.

After last night's game, I can't argue with that at all.

Lost in the shuffle of Lin's continued great play is the fact that I've never seen Bynum D'd up like he was last night. I only saw half the game, but man did Tyson make his presence felt or what.

Like Roy and others have mentioned, it will be interesting to see how the pieces fit together, once Melo and Amare returns. It's D'Antoni's job to make sure that happens.

Lin certainly has game, though. If they need a textbook on how to make players fit together, they need to look no further than Boston. Melo has to learn how to sacrifice, and that starts the minute he returns.

Once BOS rights the ship, though, I still like us in a series vs them. There's no way that Rondo will not show up.

He'd better.

If the Knicks are title contenders, then BOS is, too - no matter how bad we're playing right now.
yeah, it's pretty cool to he how he has matured over the last few years...

It'll all be screwed up with Carmelo's ball hogging. They should trade him for something and bring back Wilson Chandler

Lin, Fields, Chandler, Stoudemire, and maybe Howard?

THAT is a title contender.

  • Rondo = Good
For the Atlantic division crown maybe.

Said it many times, and I'll say it again.  Nobody in the Atlantic is catching the Sixers this season.  They are built for this regular season.

The Knicks really do look like contenders, as crazy as it sounds to be saying such a thing.

Chandler has committed to return to the Nuggets.

theyre not winning as long as Melo is there, I mean Lin had 4 great games but once Melo and Amar'e comes back, we do not know how that will affect Lin's game...

now if Lin, Fields, SF, Amar'e and Chandler, thats a good team, I say trade Melo for role players...

This alleged "pass first point guard" NEVER averaged five assists in his four-year Harvard career.  He is on a nice roll and I LOVE his story and he seems like a stand up kid and potentially a GREAT role model for young kids and adults for that matter!!!

I wish him the best, but to expect him to sustain this level of play in slightly delusional to be honest.

That being said, I LOVE the kids and think we need more players like him in the NBA!!

What's interesting is that he's averaging EIGHT assists and Melo and Amare aren't playing, yet.

This man will be like a kid in a candy store once they return and as long as he's allowed to lead.

I predict 14-16 pts, 9-10 assists, 3 rebs 1-2 steals once the team is whole.

Sure, the Knicks are title contenders and the Wizards, Nets, Jazz and Lakers are title contenders as well...LOL.

Stop the LIN-SANITY!

Lets see how Amare and Carmelo feel about playing on Jeremy Lin's team before we hand the Knicks the title.

When you're on a terrible team, assists are much harder to come by.
He would've been a scoring guard on that team because the rest of them sucked.
He could literally double his assist average in the NBA on a team of good shooters.
not saying he's going to average 25 points and 10 assists each night but you're not giving him enough credit.
His points will definitely go down once those two are back but yes, he might have stats of 14-15ppg + 7-9 assists which would be much more than Baron Davis' fat ass could give them.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Lets see how Amare and Carmelo feel about playing on Jeremy Lin's team before we hand the Knicks the title.

The great irony is that the Knicks are a more cohesive, successful team without their two most "talented" players, because of Lin.  What a great story.  I hated the Knicks my whole life, but now find myself rooting for them, all because of Jeremy Lin.  I love how may experts continue to just shrug, unable to process what just happened.
