  • Rondo = Good
Rajon Rondo for the Bobcats 1st round pick.

Bobcats pick will be top 5, in all likelihood.

Truthfully, the Bobcats probably wouldn't even consider trading the pick for Rondo.

We need to understand, Rondo is probably only just barely worth a top 10 pick in this draft.  If we package him with our two first rounders, though, it's possible (though unlikely) we could break into the top 5.

That might be the best case scenario for trading Rondo.

The ultimate trade.

A totally terrible trade for the Knicks.  Why would they do that?  Also Orlando will want young bigs and this trede doesn't do that either...

Obviously I'm playing fantasy GM like everyone else but I'll humor myself.

Knicks play better without Carmelo holding on to the ball on offense for the entire shot clock. In Dantoni's offense three point shooters are key in half court sets and get quick looks.

Orlando knows they are losing Dwight Howard, and besides Andrew Bynum there is no big in the league that is worth trading him for, so you get the most talent available and get young bigs through the draft which would be through one of our picks going their way.

You trade him for the best trade possible, if you trade him at all.  The C's have been paying him over $10M a year for what he's done for the team.
