I no longer believe that Rondo is a good fit for this team. The way they play they just need somebody to bring the ball up, play D, hit a jumper, and swing the ball to the open man. Rondo infuriates me when he holds the ball for 12 seconds just....waiting. He is looking to pad his assist totals instead of moving the ball. Do not like.

The last 4 minutes of the game and overtime were very painful to watch. Seems we all knew the celtics would struggle to score.  Seen this time and time again. I agree, its' time to take Rondo out in Crunch time.  Pierce and Allen need to distribute.

Love Rondo but man is it frustrating..  We are an awful offensive team.  When he was out we got much easier looks.

I might be in the minority wit this one but I think the more Rondo dominated the ball the more it stunted Pierce's scoring I think he coulda passed Bird a lot quicker nd i think he had a few more seasons of averaging 22-24 ppg instead of around 18 nd 19

I'm sorry but a starting NBA point guard needs to be able to shoot the ball. Its just that simple.

Rondo only knows one way. His way. That's why his warts are showing. Can't shoot or hit foul shots. So opposition collapses on defense and forgets about him. They do not need to respect him.

This Rondo who can't shoot....you mean the guy who is hitting 52% of his 2 point shots, higher than any other starter, as well as Bass/Pietrus?  And while his FT% is still a woeful 60%, he makes more FTs/game than everyone except Pierce....getting to the line is half the battle, and he is good at that...far better than Ray or KG.

And shooting is his weakness....great penetrator, superior passer, pushes the ball better than anyone else we have, very good defender, and perhaps the best rebounding small in the league.  He is an all-star.

Rondo has his weaknesses, and they have come in to the spotlight recently, as his presence seems to send the offense into a funk.  It needs work...from Doc, the coaches, and himself, to right this.  And I believe it can be done.

If we trade him, so be it....just hope it's a real winner of a trade.  This would not be like trading Perk away.

Hope he doesn't get traded, because I've seen him at his best, and at that state he's dangerous, borderline star. Something is wrong with him right now. Maybe his confidence took a little hit, maybe he's still hurt from that wrist we don't know but something is really not right with Rajon in how he plays right now.

If we do trade him, I sure hope it's for a borderline star player as well. Because, and call me a conspiracist if you want, I strongly believe that him being shopped for CP3 took out his willingness to play for this team anymore. And I'll be scare if I trade him, because he might turn it up again and be all star caliber. It's was probably about the trade that's bugging him and because of that he's not been aggressive like he was before.

This is confidence problem right here. Said it before, but I think it's really just that. He's not confident enough that he thinks most of his jumpers will brick, so unless he's really wide open, he won't shoot. He does not have that in him, where he will shoot if the defender is far back. He thinks it won't go in, therefore a waste of possession.

He needs to be confident and just take those shots if defenders are daring him too. Miss or not. It starts from there. He can hit those 15-18 footers, don't really see any other reason why he doesnt shoot that much unless he's really open.

Whatever it takes. I really think this is just a confidence hit, not trusting his own shots. For me I'd have KG, Bass, JO and the bigs tell him that "it's fine, just shoot it if you feel like they'll letting you. We'll take care of the rebound if it misses." Then again, Rondo has to tell KG to "box out, man!".
