While I remember losing games where KG played great, I still think there is a valid point in the OP. The reason is that the probability of KG performing poorly is relatively high due to his physical condition. Not only is there the lingering minor injury and sketchy joints problem, but there is also the loss of explosiveness that makes it really hard for him to finish near the rim this season.
On days he is feelings spry, he can really impact a game. On days he is not so spry, it can be tough to watch.
