  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I remain, excited.

Will the Houston Rockets be doing a tribute before their selection?

It'd really crack me up if they didn't.

Lowry to perform the title track from 'Waiting to Exhale'?

How will I know?

Lowry kinda seems the quiet type - Too shy, can't speak.

He needs to control his breathing. Exhale (Shoop Shoop), and get himself together. Step By Step, he'll figure it out.

I don't think that'll fly. An hour is a bit of a move.

What's the earliest I can pick?

Noon, when I announce the trades. Draft should be very laid-back.

How does submitting trades work? Both participants have to send them to you before noon tomorrow or what, in general?

Earlier wouldn't work for me.  It would be in the middle of the last period of the day.

Speaking of trades, still listening to offers for the number 2 pick tomorrow or one of my players.

I'll start accepting them at noon, trades work like this:

If Guy A and Guy B are trading, they both send me identical trades with their okay.

Quote from: Guy A
My team trades: Player X, pick Y
His team trades: Player A, pick B
I accept.

Guy B does the same, and as long as I don't veto it for gross incompetence, its a go.

If you are interested in the #1 pick, I am looking to keep it but will consider an offer if it blows me away.

Jeremy Lin is by far the most interesting player in this draft, not even close.

You're linsane. You don't pick Jeremy Lin with the first pick. You pick someone who will help you Lin, not a flash in the pan.
