All I get out of it is that Wes Welker ain't clutch.

Manningham is clutch.

David Tyree was clutch in 2008.
Brady wasn't too clutch either. Bad interception and failure to move us in FG range in the 4th? We get 3 pts on that drive, and I don't think the Giants are coming back.

Why?   The Giants would only be down 5 points.  Did the Patriots show that ability to stop the Giants hurry up offense?
Because they would no longer be able to mess around and kick a FG for the win. Moreover, a fresh set of downs would eat another minute - minute and a half off the clock, and with 2:30 to go and 1 timeout left, it's a different ballgame -- have in mind we had the Giants settle for field goals on the previous two drives.

But that is what the Giants had (in some form or other) in the past two games with the Pats.

That's what they dealt with multiple times this season.

Routine catch. Routine back shoulder throw, he's got to come down with that. Close your hands on that ball like your life depends on it dude...

Maybe. Even if I'm wrong, it sure beats letting them win on a simple field goal with 20 seconds left on the clock.

It is safe to say that the Giants have proved over and over again that they are a better clutch team than the Patriots. The proof is in the pudding. Patriots are a very good team. Giants are clutch - Patriots arent. Nothing wrong with being Number 2. Much better than the Celtics. :'(
And someday in the midst of time,
When they ask you if you knew me
Remember that you were a friend of mine

The ball was catchable but anything but a routine catch.  The pattern Welker ran was to receive the ball in the inside, not on the outside.  So he had to almost do a 180 and catch a laser.  If you watched the replay they showed during the game, they did show a closeup of his footwork during the play.  Because he twisted his feet around, he could not plant and had no leverage to jump up and out towards the ball; he was just falling backwards.

If that catch was a touchdown or inside the 10 maybe you could say it's the game.  But anything could happen after that; a sack and fumble, a pick, a missed FG; etc.

What about Hernandes? What about Branch? What about the interception Brady threw to Gronk?

Hernandez had probably the best game out of the patriots...hard to blame him
deion branch, eh fine but he is what he is and had already won a superbowl MVP for us.
Welker lead the leauge in receptions, didnt have a good game, hasnt won a superbowl with us and flat out shouldve caught that ball...dont care what anyone says

Hernandez let the ball bounce off his hands when it mattered.

The entire game mattered clearly and
Frankly hes shown signs of that all year....welker dropped a ball he catches if its any stage but the superbowl

Defense wins championships.

You can't score in the playoffs like in the regular season.

The Pats have only 1 star and that's Brady.

Their system is great and all but when the big stage comes you need more talent to make the plays.

Truth is it's only 3 mere FG's that separates Brady from being a Superbowl Champion as opposed to Dan Marino.

If the Giants fans can't take what they dish out to a man's wife it's not my problem.

And its a mere 3 and 4 points why hes not 5 time champion...Marino made one superbowl

Im not sure who their other stars were when they were winning championships either...they werent...including himself.Hes actually better now then he was then,,,Maybe its the curse of Gisele..ha
