Clearly the bench is impressive.

Bass, Pietrus, Bradley

All bring a ton of energy and are excellent athletes, which is what this team sorely needs.

Wilcox seems to be rounding into form also so with those 4 and Moore and perhaps Johnson down the line we are looking good.

Dooling, Pavlovic and Daniels are all decent.

No major drop off this year when the starters are out.  On many instances the bench has brought this team back into games like they did tonight.

We are a Rebounding, Defense Center away from being a real threat.

Great game tonight!

Then you'll be pretty disappointed to learn that we are trading bass + ray allen for Deron Williams.

It's on ESPN.com right now.

Okay, I'm kidding.

The bench is shouldering the weight when the 3 are seated no doubt. Nice see compared to the thin benches of past years. This group is melding compared to the Knicks with their 2 headline grabbers. Doc say's Bradley can hit the jumper with regularity in practice. I think when he carries that over to real time this team may be dangerous. Pierce and Allen can't bring it every game. KG's rigor is making him a contributor not a dominator. Another gun besides Bass is needed. Bradley may be that other.

If only we hung onto Tony Allen.

Bradley, Allen, Pietrus Bass, Wilcox

UNSTOPPABLE DEFENSE!!

Still, we are really good as a bench.

Agreed.

Allen is obviously elite and can hold almost any wing player, but Pavlovic and Daniels are pretty good too.

Tony Allen gets alot hate here , but I think we should have resigned Tony.  Instead we kept "Da Baby" and other useless pieces.

Glade Perk is "Poster Child" for OKC and not the C's...

But ..Yes I'm liking this Bench 100X better than any since Leon and Tony.

Micheal P. and B. Bass are providing a serious offensive punch off the bench. Now if DOC would only let Moore and JJ play .. ::)

JJ has got a sweet jumper....come on Doc ...put the guys in that can shoot the ball.

SKILL before AGE.

love the Bass, Pietrus combo on the court...Bradley's defense is amazing though he can do a bit better to work on his offense...

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Haha, sorry to scare some people, but I get the feeling that Deron Williams will, indeed, become a Celtic. Don't ask me why. Not like I was told by a reliable source or anything. :)

NYC is a very poor team to gauge a bench against.  Their bench is truly horrible folks.  Almost any team's second string would look good against NYC's bench.

While I agree we have some weapons.  Pietrus and Bass are rock solid.  Avery can defend.  Wilcox is the guy I want to see improve some more.  He is the guy we need for boards.

I wish I could stop reading about how well Avery Bradley hits his jump shots in practice. Every player hits their shots in practice. Like Bradley's defense, but he is not a shooter, right now.

I really like this bench.  We've got very good perimeter defenders in Bradley, Pietrus, Pavlovic, and Daniels.  This is going to help us out a lot, especially come playoff time, in keeping our stars fresh when we go up against the likes of Wade, James, and Rose.

There's been a lot of talk about this team's offense, but as always, they are going to have to hang their hat on the defensive end where they have played brilliantly over the last ten games.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Well, its Danny and Doc that have made those comments. Given Bradley's age and experience, its not inconceivable to think that when he's thinking the game less and slowing down that the shots will fall because his form is extremely good.

Compare that to Rondo early in his career where Rondo's arm was flailing out and he wasn't shooting at the top of his jump and he never had a consistent release point. None of that can be seen in Bradley's shot. He's just got to much thinking or strength or adrenaline going on that is causing the shot to be off. His form is there.
