Feb 1. Toronto
Feb 3. New York
Feb 5. Memphis
Feb 7. Charlotte
Feb 9. LA Lakers
Feb 10. @Toronto
Feb 12. Chicago
Feb 15. Detriot

We need to go a bare minimum of 6 and 2 here with all those home games. I prefer 8 and 0. The next five is a BRUTAL road trip down the I-35 corrider and swinging back to the Midwest.

Staying at .500 will simply not cut it and I feel that Danny Ainge is going to start exploring serious trade options to effectively send us down a different path that none of us will like here.

We need to fix our rebounding problems and 4th quarter meltdowns that we have been experiencing lately. We need to get Rondo back on the court ASAP. We need everyone to step up and pitch in and save this 2012 season.

While I agree this will be very important, as long as they are a couple games over .500 going into April, they should be able to slide into the playoffs, at which point all that matters is whether they are healthy and clicking, and February will be a long lost memory.

Now, if they don't go at least .500 during this stretch, they are going to be in a tough spot, but at this point, home court is not likely, so really, they just need to finish with a better record than 4 of Toronto, New Jersey, New York, Cleveland, Milwaukee, and Orlando (Washington, Detroit and Charlotte are lost causes).

I am not so sure that Cleveland, Milwaukee and New York won't pass us and that Orlando won't straighten out their current psychological mess. I doubt that Toronto or New Jersey are capable EC ancillary playoff contenders but they could pull off a great midseason deal that turns their seasons around. TP for responding to my message, Chris.

We're just much more talented than Cleveland. Milwaukee has lost Bogut for most likely the rest of the regular season. Orlando is a mess. So is New York, where the Melo-Amare duo seems like a bad mix.

I actually think we can catch Philly. They've had an easy schedule thus far and 11 of their 15 wins have been at home.

WOW! Getting to the playoffs is our Goal. Do I understand that right? will that get us to #18 Banner? if Not whats the point? By the end of this month we should know where we are as a team and Blow it up to give the big three a chance to go deeper in the playoffs and win a championship with another team if Possible For sure we would acquire as much value and asset as possible along the way. This is a business Gang.WE need to retool and the only question is when will we start. Before March 15 or after July 1  We should not deceive ourselves into believing we are going to win a championship this year, There is no prize for getting to the playoffs. We need to reload and rebuild as soon as possible.

If we get into the playoffs, we have a chance at Banner 18.  If we don't, then we have no chance of banner 18.  So, right now, the goal is to get into the playoffs.

Interesting stretch - especially that Feb 9th game. Will be looking to see how we match up with the Lakers.

The record in these next 8 games depends a lot on whether Rondo is back. With him, 6-2. Without him 4-4 or worse.

Why do you say 4-4 or worse without Rondo? We are currently 5 and 2 without him. We took down Orlando twice and Indiana without him. I think we can at least 6-2 with or without Rondo.

Playoff seeding doesn't matter much as long as we made it there. What's more important is the health of the guys. One or two injuries could kill the chemistry in the playoffs

They have beaten one decent team, Indiana, without Rondo. Clearly, at least right now, the Magic are a one man team and they stink. Without Rondo I see potential losses against the Lakers, Memphis, Kinicks and Bulls. Hell, I hope they go 8-0!
