so obviously NY's version of the big three isn't working out.
the teams real problem seems to be the lack of a distributing point guard and the combination of two stars (amare and melo) who need the ball to be effective. they should probably rest by trading one of those two for a PG who can run the team. dwill, chandler and either melo or amare would be a good foundation)
however, new york has not always made rational basket ball decisions. they may decide that the best route forward is to go after DH.
in the absence of a direct trade with orlando they may look to free up cap space to go after him in FA.
