so obviously NY's version of the big three isn't working out.
the teams real problem seems to be the lack of a distributing point guard and the combination of two stars (amare and melo) who need the ball to be effective. they should probably rest by trading one of those two for a PG who can run the team. dwill, chandler and either melo or amare would be a good foundation)
however, new york has not always made rational basket ball decisions. they may decide that the best route forward is to go after DH.

in the absence of a direct trade with orlando they may look to free up cap space to go after him in FA.
this is where the celtics come it...

we then use the remaining cap space we have this summer to go after a 4 who would fit well with  chandler like hawes, monroe, j thompson, etc

I thing Chandler is the least likely player to be traded by NY.



Melo and Amare together are the problem.  One of them are the ones most likely to be moved. 


One has to wonder if NJ would do a Williams for Melo trade at this point?  NY could probably mine Lopez from it as well.

true true. but cant you see NY salivating at the prospect of three, count them three!, huge names, even with ill fitting games, suiting up for the knicks? think about the marketing potential
