Boston receives: Mayo, Favors/Kanter

Memphis receives: R.Allen, Moore

Utah receives: T. Allen, Dooling, + 1st round 2012 Boston pick

Your thoughts ?

I dont see any reason for Memphis to do this trade. They're giving up Mayo and TA for older RayRay and an unproven rookie. I also dont see the need for Utah to get TA or Dooling either.

I do like it for the C's though!

Good (fresh) idea. TP for your efforts.

I actually think it is one of the most realistic. A pick or 2 might get thrown in there but at least it isn't another lopsided "you give me an All Star and I will give you KG" trade.

The Jazz give up a top 5 pick big man with all kinds of potential for a mid to late first round pick and a couple of role players?  Makes no sense.

They have four big men, all talented and still young. They cant give all of them big time (30+ min) and develope talent at the same time. Whats the point for Utah to hold on to four big men? And have no options of the bench (backcourt)?

But I understand your concern. So what would you offer?

From the Cs perspective, it's a no-brainer, but I don't see Memphis or Utah going for this. It's lopsided in a 60-20-20 sort of way. Favors and Mayo are the kind of younger players we need to build this team back up quickly.
