These seem like the most likely trades to teams Howard said he would be open to playing with. I ran them all through the trade checker so they work for the most part, might have to add some filler here and there.

Orl sends :Dwight + BBD
NJ  sends :Okur(exp),Humphries(exp),Marshon Brooks, Lopez ,
              2012 pick(likely 5-10)

Orl sends: Dwight+ Hedo
Chi sends: Noah, Deng, Gibson and future 1st

Orl sends: Dwight
Lac sends: Jordan, Bledsoe, Mo Williams and 2 future 1sts

Orl sends: Dwight, Jameer
Bos sends: Rondo, KG and 2 1st's in 2012(likely 18-25)

Orl sends: Dwight and Hedo
LAL sends: Bynum, Artest , filler and future 1st

Orl sends: Dwight + Hedo
NYK sends: Amare + Chandler

I think I would have to go with the NJ trade. You get a 20 point scorer at the center spot( I know he's soft) , Brooks a young wing that can fill it up and has some upside, get rid of BBD contract while picking up a solid starter in Humphries who you can resign or let walk and you get a top 5-10 pick in next years deep draft .

Which one would you do ?

Isn't the Chicago trade package not based around Boozer and Noah instead of Deng and Noah? With Taj Gibson staying in Chicago and taking over the starting PF duties once Boozer leaves.

I expect the Magic would get 2-3 first round picks from the Lakers in addition to Bynum.

The Nets should make the playoffs with Dwight Howard joining their team in the near future. Their 2012 pick shouldn't be considered a mid-lottery pick. I expect Orlando would have a choice between Marshon Brooks and two additional first rounders with Orlando receiving anywhere from 2 to 4 first rounders from the Nets.

well if Hedo going to Chicago , it would make more sense to take back Deng. Deng is better anyways and the wouldn't want to take on that huge contract Boozer has IMO. Gibson is on a rookie contract and has pretty good upside .

Then you have a combo of Boozer and Howard in chicago which makes more sense than Gibson/Howard. Boozer would get so many open 15-18 ft shots with Howard down low .

Orl                             CHI

PG: Nelson                    PG: Rose
SG: Richardson                SG: Hamilton
SF: Deng                      SF: Hedo
PF: Gibson                    PF: Boozer
 C: Noah                       C: Howard

Also I think there is a decent chance NJ's pick would still be in the lottery because Orl won't trade Howard before the all-star break(The game is in Orlando). That means NJ would only have about a month and a half or 2 months to get chemistry and win enough games to make the playoffs .

I'd definitely take the Bulls' package, but I don't think the Bulls are going to try to trade for Dwight.  They already have an elite team.

I think the Lakers will ultimately offer Gasol and Bynum with the willingness to take on Hedo, and unless the Magic are committed to keeping Dwight this season, that's the best deal they'll get.

only one that looks even remotely attractive to both sides is the LAL deal, but no way ORL is taking Artest back in a Howard trade.

I think Dwight Howard is the most valuable player in the league, but if I'm Chicago I don't think I'm willing to give up that much for him. Sounds silly, but I think Gibson is a deal breaker.

I'd say the NJ package just because in that scenario you get a couple of talented young players and good draft pick.  That way you get to draft high up, start anew, and create the kind of team culture of your choosing.

That does sound silly.  If anybody should be a deal breaker, it should be Deng, who is the 2nd best player on the Bulls right now and one of the best wing defenders in the league.

The reported, well rumoured, deals I saw in the media between the Magic and the Bulls didn't involve Hedo. They were based around Booz + Noah for Dwight. Leaving the two teams with these rosters.

You make a good point about the draft pick.  I didn't consider the fact that the Nets have a 1st round pick to trade away this year.

Humphries is a good player, too, so giving Orlando his Bird Rights via trade isn't lacking in value, either.

Poor wording on my part. What I meant was that I understand that you need to give to get, and if I'm Chicago I'd be willing to part with Noah and Deng to land D12 (though I'm not sure Orlando would/should take that), but I don't think I'd be willing to part with Taj Gibson as well.

Partly, because I think Chicago may be bidding against themselves, as I think they're the only team that could persuade Orlando to trade D12 before the trade break.

Hm, perhaps.  I'm of the opinion that Chicago shouldn't mess with a good thing anyway.  They've been playing so well and they actually have room for improvement if they keep their roster as-is.  So given that I'd say they're giving up too much by making the trade in the first place.
