Clippers view:
- Mo isn't need as they have 3 reliable PGs already
- Hedo can save them in the SF postition(Caron isn't that reliable)

Lakers view:
- Dwight Howard. Period.
- Bynum has nothing on Dwight

Celtics view:
- Rondo isn't needed since we need a scoring PG. Why? Look at our team statistically in the last 4 wins.
- Dooling is our worst offseason pick-up. IMO Even more than Sasha, Sasha at least showed up in the season more than once.
- Mo brings our PG needs
- Gomes+Barnes increases our depth behind Pierce and Ray

Magic view:
- Gets rid of trading block pests (Hedo and Dwight)
- They would trade Arenas after this deal for a SF
- Would send Nelson to the 6th man role
- Bynum+Rondo=Back to the playoff race

-----------------------
Then,
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=6uu6tep

No need to explain for this trade. Final line-up:
PG Williams/Moore
SG Allen/Pietrus
SF Pierce/Barnes/Sasha
PF Garnett/[vet min]
C  Kaman/[vet min,Joey Pryz?]/Stiemsma

2013 line up assumption:
PG Williams/Clippers pick/Moore
SG Allen/Pietrus/Gilbert Brown
SF Green/Pierce(6MOTY)/Steph Lasme
PF Garnett/Big Free Agent
C  Kaman/Celtics pick/Micheal Sweetney

Don't like Mo, so I wouldn't do it.

Why do the Celtics offer to help the Lakers get the best player and give up Rondo in the process?

The best we can get for Rondo is Mo Williams, Ryan Gomes and Matt Barnes? I would think he'd have more value that that. That's an overpaid backup PG and two marginal NBA players right there.

Also, I think the Clippers would rather pay $25M for two years of Gomes and Williams than $33M for three years of Turkoglu.

??? Troll much? So basically, Clippers and Celtics help Lakers to get Howard. Sure.

Clippers trade their only scoring punch of the bench for terrible contract.

Celtics trade their only valuable trade asset for a guy who is playing behind 35 y old Billups and 2 scrubs.

Did I mentioned that Lakers trade Howard for Bynum + Barnes without taking a bad contract back and/or giving additional assets.

Gasol for Kwame looks great compared to this.

I really hope you didn't just call Bradley a scoring PG.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Trading Rondo for mediocre, less talented, older players is definitely the right move to start our rebuilding process.

I don't think he did :)

But I don't get how Rondo is not a "scoring" point guard. He is not a shooter, but 15 ppg is more than Steve Nash and his fg% is 51.7 (which is elite). Chris Paul makes 16.9 ppg his fg% is 48.6. Deron Williams makes 19.4 ppg on a terrible team and his fg% is 39.6.

Don't you know by now? Rondo sucks. He sucks, and he stinks, and he sucks. ;)

What about the stats from the last 4 wins show that we don't need Rondo but we need a scoring PG?

Didn't call AB a scoring guard, Pierce usually was the playmaker and he can create shots+dish out for shots. Clearly, Rondo isn't that needed in our team. Though, I don't know why I didn't try for a big. I'll add
