Love Ray!

But outside of Rondo, I believe he is the best "chip" to move to get something in return.

Ray would make a possible contender/playoff team better, instantly.

Ray on the Clippers to replace Chauncey would make them better than they are now.  Throw in "tha Steama" if you have to offset the loss of a center.

Rondo and Jordan would be a great way to start rebuilding for the future.  It would be Boston's version of lob city.  He plays defense, rebounds, runs the floor, obviously athletic.  Perfect fit for Rondo.  Next year, sign Eric Gordon and you have a very good transition into the next decade.

Clippers do this because they have no outside scoring.

Chauncey sucks for them.  Not only have they won in spite of him, they have lost games because of him.

Paul can score and create for himself and Griffin.  You have Ray as an outlet, jumpshooter on the perimeter.

It makes all the sense.

Salaries match.

And as far as the GM,  he'll be fired anyway if he doesn't get rid of Del Negro.

They have Mo Williams, and Randy Foye (both shooting close to 40% on threes this season), so their need for outside shooting is vastly overstated.

Then why is Chauncey in their during crunch time?

Because Vinny Del Negro is afraid to bench Billups at the end of the game, becuase Billups will get mad that he isn't that good of a shooter anymore.

But c'mon, man. Their need for sg doesn't come anywhere near their need for exactly the type of player DeAndre Jordan already is. Right now, you could make a pretty good argument that Jordan is more valuable to that team than Blake Griffin is.
