My prediction is 31-30 Giants, with the winning FG coming in the last 3 minutes.

This is how I feel about this Super Bowl. Unfortunately I also feel this way about any Celts game against a young team like the Cavs or any winning team like the Pacers

Score.....Pats 12...Giants 11

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Being a Celtics blog, I would expect the Patriots to get a lot of love; however, this has not been the case in the media. I get that 'on paper', the Giants seem to be a more well-rounded team and have been on quite a roll, but they did manage to lose 7 games this year - yes, 7 games. This being the case, I am going for Bill, Tom, and the Patriots 24-17.

100-0 GIANTS!

Ok, well, that's obviously crazy.  Personally, I'm not much on predicting scores.  I will, however, predict a Giants victory.

I'm guessing it will be a close game, with the difference being Eli's outstanding, clutch 4th quarter play.

The Giants were 9-7 this year...If they win, they'd be the worst regular season team to win a superbowl...

I still think they'll win, just pointing that out. (I think the Patriots year is next year..Signings to bolster their Defense and maybe a new WR...Brandon Llyod ehem?)

All signs say this will be a really close game...but I think we see a dominant pats performance.

31-13 PATS
