Any bets on Doc's 2nd half starters?
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Let's be realistic here.

We have three starters out with injury.
We are starting a PG that has no left hand whatsoever.
We are relying on two players that barely played in the league last year.
We are on the road against a good team seeking retribution for an embarrassing display of basketball three days prior.
Two of our bench veterans we are using and relying on in this game have ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY SUCKED this year.

Put this into the equation for any team in the league and guess what, you get an embarrassing road loss.

But wait. They won Monday night and many people, not you, but others, said they were back.

And Bradley was the new "Glove".

This is the NBA. Any team can beat any other on any given night. Its when you start putting together consistent efforts and results with consistent players that you can declare anything about a team, IMHO.

Has this team really had consistent efforts and results with consistent players at any point this year?

I would say no and because of that I am not sure anyone can declare anything definitive about this team, positively or negatively.

So, why do we think Pierce took off the first half?
