Let's be realistic here.

We have three starters out with injury.
We are starting a PG that has no left hand whatsoever.
We are relying on two players that barely played in the league last year.
We are on the road against a good team seeking retribution for an embarrassing display of basketball three days prior.
Two of our bench veterans we are using and relying on in this game have ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY SUCKED this year.

Put this into the equation for any team in the league and guess what, you get an embarrassing road loss.

But wait. They won Monday night and many people, not you, but others, said they were back.

And many said stuff like "in the NBA, sometimes bad teams beat good teams"...

Any bets on Doc's 2nd half starters?

Moore, Sasha, Dooling, Wilcox and the Leprechaun.

Leprechaun gettting more time than JJJ. Sounds right.

Don't worry, Leprechaun will start but when he/it goes down with a season ending injury about 4 mins into the 3rd, JJJ will step right on in.

While the Celts are not a bad team, I would say that  was pretty much the case Monday night.

So, why do we think Pierce took off the first half?
Wow, vinnie...your guess is as good as any other.

In summary, that's what we look like when the other team shows up for a real game rather than a scrimmage.

I don't think he took the half off. He was doing exactly what he was doing in any previous game -- dribbling himself into trouble. Except the Magic actually had him figured out, so no easy buckets.

That looks more like going below the surface and drilling on.

Sad stat of the night....Avery Bradley is our leading rebounder and has more rebounds than Stiemsma, Pierce, Wilcox and Bass COMBINED with 4.

That's just inexcusable.
