Deng Torn Ligament in Wrist

I think this shortened season is going to be about the upper level teams staying healthy.  If rondo broke his wrist the other game we'd be done right then & there.  We can't take an injury to any of our core guys.  Deng not being able to play and rose turf toe would hurt them in a playoff series.  Lots of teams are in this area.
If Deng couldn't go could Kirelenko be a possible replacement?  Not sure if he can get out of contract etc but he'd be a good fit sf/pf for them.

I like to look at the glass as half full and think this puts the Celtics a Lebron torn ACL away from making people around here optimistic about a trip to the NBA Finals.

This is the way I'm thinking too. Some of the so-called elite teams looking a bit shaky lately and are 1 more injury away from almost falling out of it. The Celtics have some injuries too, but thankfully so far, they seem to be on the minor side. Its a big if, but if we can stay intact, the dominoes seem to be falling just a bit our way. One way or another. I'm thinking we're starting to look little by little, like more of a threat.

Sucks for the Bulls, great for the Heat. Deng's no Kobe Bryant can't see him avoiding surgery. This will hurt the Bulls title hopes, but I think it only hurts them slightly as far as the regular season.

I believe Kirilenko had an option to leave after the lockout ended, but said that he wanted to stay in Russia and help his team.
