Breaking News should be removed from this title.  Ridnour and Johnson both played in the Wolves loss tonight and there isnt a link anywhere online.

agreed. even "rumor" would be incorrect at this point

honestly, i hear all this about getting d-will to lure D-howard this summer... BUT i think if you can pull the more realistic trade of moving players and picks to Atlanta for Josh Smith you have a chance at getting dwight.

Josh Smith and dwight are tight. I really think if Jsmoove came to Boston and at the beggining of the summer knew that DA wanted to offer dwight a max deal he would talk to his boy and convince him. I don't care what anyone else says, if we have Rondo and Jsmoove and are able to move our 1st round picks and young players (bradley, moore, JJJ) along with Ray we can get another big piece. Along with resigning Jeff Green, I think Boston will be the most attractive place to win now and in the future for Dwight...

more I read about this rumor trade the less comfortable I become.

I think a trade for the Bulls young center would be a better trade.   We are hurtin for certain at the BIG man postion worse than anything.

I like Wesley Johnson. Very happy to see him getting more court time at the three while Michael Beasley it out. Needs to play their full time. Not a two guard. Minnesota have harmed his game by playing him out of position (like OKC did with Durant early in his career).

He'll make a very solid starting small forward in this league for a long time. Along the lines of Nic Batum or a Marvin Williams.

DH is going to LA , Nets situation is failed it seems,  LA and LAC have about the only pieces to move DH.  The NBA move of the century , would be DH for WADE and then LBJ /DH would get their five rings.  You can bet your bottom dollar if Wade would go for it , the HEAT would have already done it.

We have ZERO chance of getting DH. (until he is age 35)

I hope to eat my words , but I'm a realist.

he's not getting traded this season

i could see him going to the Clippers this summer though... but good luck with Chris Paul's knees giving out in the future and if Blake Griffin keeps playing so over the top hard he's eventually gonna blow something out. it's kinda inevitable

fail thread.

this is like tuning into a Simmons podcast, hearing a bit of his Trade Machine philosophizing and posting Breaking News!

that said, if one of the Big 3 gets traded, I think this is the sort of haul we'd be talking about . . . a player with "potential" who has underperformed, a decent role player, and maybe a future pick.

based on what?

Upon the idea that they both played tonight, and outside some guy posting this on Celticsblog, it's NOWHERE to be found.

no evidence that it will happen, but no evidence that it won't either. Calling it a dead issue because you don't like the trade is not a good reason

Can you see Rayray going to OK and spotting up for a three? He would be a difference maker for that team. Chicago is another team than should inquire about Allen. Whatever it takes not to see the Heat win a championship.

Um, where did I say this?  I didn't... I simply said it's not being reported anywhere outside of this thread.  It has no real credibility and is just a rumor posted someone here at C-blog...

...and the ORIGINAL thread said "BREAKING NEWS" in the title, so that's where my comments came from (and the title has since been changed).

How is this breaking news? More like bogus talk radio trade idea of the night.
