I believe it'd be easy enough to trade him further down the road if he failed to fix his ways.

I'd rather get Javale; he may not be the smartest player but he's what we need.  A presence in the paint who can score, rebound, and block shots.

They Won't give up McGee though? Blatche is a risk/reward thing. But as wdleehi explained, it's more risk than reward.

I wouldn't include the first.  Considering he came into the season in worse shape than Pierce, I don't think he is the missing link to make this team a contender.  And with his history, it is a big risk to take on his contract.  So, if they don't want to trade him just for the cap relief, then its no deal.
