Wow some of those comments on that thread are plain nasty....

"Garbage. One of the worst players in the league.

The only way he could help the team is by tearing his ACLs and giving us an injured player exception."

Oohwee they really dont like him...
I've never thought of the RealGM forums as a place for knowledgeable fans. The Orlando Pinstriped Post here at SB seems to appreciate the defense he brings.
"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

Big Baby has a syndrome. Like when children are abandoned by one or both of their parents (which I think is the case), they desperately try to get attention. Big Baby is always seeking for attention.

Baby had a tough, tough upbringing.  Certainly more challenging than what I ever faced.  I'll admit to having grown tired of him and being glad that he's on another team, but it's awfully tough to really judge someone who seems to be a positive and productive member of society after his type of early years.

We opened the game up 8-2 and Dwight picked up his 2nd foul.

Baby came in and his energy helped the Magic go on a run.

Still giddy that we turned BBD/Wafer into a one year rental of Bass.

Sounds like Baby might be coming down with a case of Randy Moss Post-Belichick Syndrome (RMPBS if you're a doctor).  Go from a top organization to a shoddy one and the petulance and immaturity starts bursting out the seams.

I think it sounds more like that the guy is an idiot.

So is Moss.  But like Moss Baby (mostly) held it together when he had a quality team structure around him.  Now in the midst of Orlando's clusterhug of a season he's coming unhinged.

Could be, but we can't rule out the possibility of happening across a 12 year old with a really shovable face.

Well, if we're looking for hot conspiracy topics, I can't imagine Big Baby responding well to being called out by Dwight Howard if he was the subject of last week's lashing.

You heard it here first on the Sports Chicken.

If we're going to go with some baseless speculation, I am going to guess that he was taking too many threes in shootaround and was being criticized for it.
