Sometimes I feel that the worst thing that happened to his development as a player, was the success he had in the 09 playoffs. It seems as ever since then he's wanted to be more than a role player.

Still giddy that we turned BBD/Wafer into a one year rental of Bass.

In fairness to Wafer, he's actually played pretty well for them. He's averaging 6.1 points a game, with a .493 FG% and .421 from 3. Career high TS% and eFG%. Not bad for a guy who was out of the league two years ago - also averaging the second highest PER of his career (11.7) - which is below average, but considering how much he costs...not bad.

Was he out of the league because no one wanted him or because he wanted a better contract a la Sprewell?

I like BBD better now that he "took his antics to Orlando".

I thought he was out because of how badly things went between him and Adelman in Houston.

Did they go so bad that he couldn't get the contract he wanted or did they go so bad that he couldn't get a minimum contract?

I can only the imagination his frustration of leaving a top notch organization with great coaching structure and players that actually back up what they say and landing down in that bad situation with one super star who is crying all year about leaving.

1. He went from Doc to Stan...that alone would send me to the pharmacy for Tums/alka seltzer by the boatloads-probably a pair of ear plugs as well cause as we have heard,Stan likes to exercise his vocal chords at high levels.
2. Instead of a team that plays like a Team, he is now on a team that has 1 Super Star and his supporting cast that plays like they cant wait to leave that town and by the way, has anyone ever spent anytime in Orlando. After 10pm everything is closed except that set of clubs in Mickeys World..pretty lame. I remember one night I was staying over there during the week and could not find a single thing open..I was starving but nothing...
3. Competing at the buffet line with Stan might be a tough fight to win. Maybe it was over who gets the last donut or who is thinner?
4. Hearing all year how the Celtics got the better player back in Bass must be driving him mad. But not mad enough to turn on a new gear and show us all wrong. Instead, he is acting like a spoiled little baby. In fact, his new name should be Little Baby

In the end, this might be one of Danny's finest moments for a trade.

On a side note, if Doc and Thibs were the coaches of Orlando for the past 5 years, how many titles would the Magic have won? I say at least 2. I fear that if Thibs ever got his hands on Dwight with Rose and the rest of that team, the bulls would start rattling off title after title

It was clear to me what Obese was about his rookie season.

Prior to the draft I saw some workout video that showed Glen Davis had lost a TON of weight.  The guy was fit.  He was doing an interview about how he was making a leap to the NBA and needed to take it seriously... so he was dieting and getting cut.  I really wish I could find that video... it was pretty evident how much weight he had lost.   I searched the internet hard  for pre-draft pics of Glen and the best I could come up with were these two pics which don't do it justice:

Then somehow... throughout the course of our CHAMPIONSHIP season, the guy somehow was able to gain a ton of weight back:

Granted, that might have been because he averaged a mere 13 minutes off our bench backing up Powe during our title season... but still.

Showed me all I needed to know... lazy bum whose in it for the money.  I'm sure he'll get in shape before he hits free agency.  Really glad he's not on this team anymore.

"The #orlando #magic have suspended glen davis for 2 games after an outburst at shootaround today"

If we're going to go with some baseless speculation, I am going to guess that he was taking too many threes in shootaround and was being criticized for it.
when you eat the entire buffet yet again and act like it's no big deal and the team has to play hungry that can be detrimental

Upon realizing what had happened former best friend Dwight Howard yelled "What?! No shrimp again!?" and sprang into action.

In the ensuing chaos JJ Redick lost an eye trying to break things up.....we bring you exclusive footage of the reenactment by eye witnesses
