 This is the blow it up and out of the water thread, let's try not to be too serious but just throw out some examples of a completely overhauled roster.

 Example one. Paul Pierce to the T-wolves for Darko, W Jhonson, (he still isn't very good but at least he's young) D Williams, I know I know I'm not a fan either but were just trying to get assets to flip again.

 Ray Allen and B Bass to the Jazz for Milsap and R Bell.

 And Garnett plus Rondo plus first rounders until 2015 plus J Johnson and E Moore for Turk and Dwight.

 Dooling, Bradley  Yikes!

 It may not be perfect but with another move made for a PG that team could be good fast.
 
 Another trade that could be good for both teams is Pierce to the Clips for a package around Bledsoe Butler and Gomes

I'd do the pierce minny trade. Not the Millsap one. Trade rondo kg and the worse of the 2012 draft picks along with the 2014 1st, make a play for deron Williams.

Here's my pyramid of destruction:

STEP 1: Steal Gasol, let Howard & Kobe fail in LA

Garnett, Bynum to Orlando
Howard, Turkoglu, Clippers 1st to LA
Gasol to Boston

LA gets Howard and a 1st rounder for Gasol & Bynum. Orlando gets Bynum & unloads Turkoglu in the same deal. Boston gets Gasol for Garnett and a 1st.

STEP 2: Do the Nash/Gortat thing

Rondo, O'Neal to PHO
Nash, Gortat to BOS

Discussed many times in various incarnations, we trade small for big here.

STEP 3: Get something for Ray Allen

Ray Allen to LAC
Mo Williams, future 1st (2014) to BOS

LAC are potentially a SG away from contention this year, playing Billups @ SG.

STEP 4: Keep Pierce

LINEUP AFTER TRADES;

Nash
Pietrus
Pierce
Gasol
Gortat

Bench: Bass, Williams, Bradley, JJJ, Dooling, Moore, Stiemsma

Resign Allen however we see fit, and we go into next year with:

Mo Williams / Bradley
Ray Allen / Moore
Pierce
Gasol
Gortat

Pierce and Williams would be $25M of expiring deals for the following year to keep flexibility. We'd have hell of a shooting backcourt with Williams & Allen, and we could run the offense more through Pierce & Gasol.
