Ya, don't think the Bulls would do it even if I'd love to get Taj Gibson in a trade.

Anyone else shocked how good Ronnie Brewer has been playing his season? His offense has been... not very Ronnie Brewer like.
Improved a lot ... still doesn't make that many shots though. Lot volume shot-taker.

Needs to get more comfortable taking those open shots. Still passes up far too many despite making a good percentage of the ones he takes.

The other thing about this deal is that it puts them well over the luxury tax with just 6 guys under contract next year.  I am sure they can afford it, but with the new rules, it really does restrict them.

Not sure why this would impact the luxury tax.  Unless I'm missing something this group would collectively earn a few million less than Pierce next year.  They'd be well under the cap, never mind the luxury tax.   But I don't like the deal at all anyway.
