I don't think there is any chance that he does, but I would in a second, for one reason.  Howard has proved to be one of the most durable players in the NBA, while Griffin has already had significant knee injuries, and is one of the more reckless players in the league with the way he goes up for dunks, no matter who is undercutting him.  IMO, Griffin's knees are ticking timebombs, and putting on a Clippers uniform just increases the chances of a career altering injury sooner rather than later.

Howard immediately makes them the best team in the league for as long as he and Paul are on the floor together.  Can't pass on that.

If he agreed to an extension this would happen before he could even blink. This is a no brainer if the Magic would agree to it. If I am the Magic I think I do it as well, because they are likely to see Dwight walk. No brainer.

Blake should still be improving and I like the three years younger thing too. Three years in the NBA is a long time. Plus Griffin played in college for a couple years, which is a lot less tread off the tires

 Three years may be a long time but those three years really don't begin for 6-7 years. Neither player may still be on your team by then. If you'd be better for those 6-7 years you take that every time.

Exactly. the difference in age, because of how young both still are, doesn't show up for another 6-7 years. For that reason, you take the more dominant player now.

And, with the absence of great centers in the league but the larger amount of great PFs, you have to take the all-time great center at a time when the league doesn't have any. It worked for Houston for 2 championships with Hakeem.(Not saying they traded for him just he was the most dominant big man in the game during an absence of great big men)

That would make the CLips "THE POWER" in the West. Which is better for me as Celtic to swallow.

On the other hand ...it inches DH closer to LA...and its just a matter of time till LA gets all the best players by hook or crook on their team. ,or steals the best coach from who ever.  

Stern nixed the Lakers CP3 deal ,   I don't think he is going to be able to stop the DH to LA deal from going down.

IF LA struggles any , they simply open their team door and pull in who they need , to put them back on top. While the Celtics drown in a sea of go- nowhere players

I wish DH would go on to LA and get it over with .
