I was wondering that if JJJ is really a SF like Gallnari?

If we're going into next year and Ray and KG are retired or elsewhere, the big time FA (there's really only one available) also goes elsewhere, AND PP decides to hang it up as well (doubtful), then do we trot out the following:

Rondo
Moore
JJJ
Green
Player X

Run like heck and swing for both the lotto and FA in 2013?

While many on this board have thought not, nbadraftnet thought maybe:

"Very agile and mobile ... Has the speed to play the small forward position at the next level ..."

http://www.nbadraft.net/players/jajuan-johnson

However, he doesn't have the handle like a Rashard Lewis.

Also, he is fast north and south, but not sure how quick he is. He does have a nice stroke though, and can move his feet enough to win DPOY in the Big 10 last year.

With Wilcox out and this compressed schedule I think that JJJ should be force-fed minutes. C'mon Doc.

I think he maybe could but I would rather see him get a little stronger and be a mismatch at the 4. He already has a nice variety of post moves and his quickness is definetly an attribute at the 4 whereas at the 3, a lot of dudes are that agile and quick.

I'd like him to take up SF duties when we face Lebron, Durant or Melo. His size, athleticism and speed will keep these All-Stars at bay. Plus, he can post against these guys on the offensive end.

Could they win more than 15?

I am sure Doc has tried this out. He likes players that can play multiple positions and create mismatches. The problem is Bass is playing well and KG is still KG (even if his play has diminished somewhat). In other words he still has a ways to go.

I'm having trouble picturing that, but hey, why not give it a shot? He's clearly not getting off the bench anytime soon at the 4 or 5.

I dunno dude, I don't think we can convince player X to sign with us. maybe we could trade KG+picks to get him though. He'd be very expensive though  ;)

Why not! Considered how rebounding is C's achilles heel, getting bigger upfront won't hurt. Jajuan has Kevin Durant frame 6'10 lanky athletic-freaks. JJ is skilled enough to make it work. Pre-draft interview JJ thinks of himself as 3/4 not 4/5
