I know Howard has said he's accept a trade to the Lakers, Nets and Mavs but are the Clippers on his list? I assume DeAndre Jordan and others would get it done. Can you imagine a Howard, Griffin, Paul core?

If not DH to the C's, I hope this happens.  What a joy it would be for Lakers to be #2 in LA.

The Lakers are offering Andrew Bynum. The Nets are offering Brook Lopez.

Why would Orlando accept DeAndre Jordan instead of either one of those two?  The Clippers don't have enough trade assets after acquiring Chris Paul to get into the Dwight Howard sweepstakes.

What are the hypothetical others though?

And if Brook Lopez can't get Howard, DeAndre Jordan can't either.

Just a thought and wondering. I know you'd have to add say Bledsoe, Minnesota's pick etc.

They traded away the Wolves pick to the Hornets. They simply don't have the assets to trade for Howard.

Besides they need to match Howard's and Turk's contracts = 29+ M dollars. Jordan plus Bledsoe plus Butler (since they get a new SF) = less than 20 M.

In Rebus's defense, not the only person who didn't know that until recently. Just got educated on that myself.

I could see a sign and trade in the offseason. At least the Magic get something in return.

If I'm Orlando and the Clips reach out, I'd want Griffin for Howard.  No Griffin, no Dwight.

Clips would still have to listen because they already have CP3 and other decent players to go with him.

My mistake thought they still had the pick.
