Is Paul Pierce really THIS bad now?

What has happened to our captain? He has no lift in his shots and can't even rebound anymore. Can he even turn it around this season? Thoughts?

I dont think he expected there to be a season and he's incredibly out of shape.

However, with him aging, theres definitely no guarantee he'll get it all the way back

He's terribly out of shape....I'm really believing that he was planning on the season being cancelled.

In his favor, I'll say that the foot injury probably didn't help him, too.

Pierce was at a lot of the players' meetings during the lockout (so was KG) then had a foot injury for the ridiculously short training camp.  He's out of shape and out of rhythm. 

We've seen enough out of Paul over the years to not give up on him this fast, I hope.

by the time Pierce is back in shape it wouldn't shock me if one or two of the Big 3 were gone.

He has to be still injured, and he was such an important force , the team can't fuction the same without him at all. 

If his foot hurts m then he can't work out and get back in shape
