And he did finish...

  • Rondo = Good
He's as done as Lamar Odom was.  Which is to say no, he isn't.  He's just a veteran used to easing into the season with training camp and pre-season and he didn't get to even have a shortened version of those things due to his injury.  It's gonna take a while before he gets into form.

Unfortunately, the Celtics clearly don't have the personnel to make up for the lack of offense from Pierce in the meantime.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

I don't think he's done at all, but the hectic schedule and probably add that he might not be completely healed of his injury might be an issue. Heck I wonder did he keep himself in shape during the lockout because that  could be a reason too.

At this point , I wouldn't be against trade him off for Josh Smith . although,  I've now lower my expectations for thinking for a mircle draft pick , a pure freakin luck great pick to happen for the "C"'s with all the bad luck this teams gets  , surely we're due .

coming back from injury and long layoff-definitely not done but it takes longer for a classic old car to get warmed up vs a new thoroughbred- have faith, it will just take some time

too early in the season yet. give him 'til the 25 game mark and we'll have a better idea then.

I guess that next we'll have a "Is Ray Allen done?" Thread.

We've had a KG one...that keeps recurring from time to time.

We have a Paul one tonight.

I think we've had a JO one, too.

Now we need to work on a Rondo one...... :)

I agree, this is the best we can even hope for at this point. Over the short run.

I'm preparing myself for a total rebuilding and five years or more of hoping for a mircle rookie using draft picks to build the squad back up to playing contention.  Unless some really bizzar happens in the Celtics favor , ( Kobe quits and plays for Celtics..LoL ... I'm really not seeing more than 25 wins.

Not Doc and DA fault.  Father time has caught up with our four superstars
