Trade Clips 1st, NJs 2nd, JO and Bradley to Cleveland for Varejao.

Then I'd say House and Przybilla would both be worth a look.
Interesting thought for getting SideShow Bob.  How bad is his contract?  He's not much on offense but he's pretty durable and decent on the boards and D.

He'd be dead last for minutes at the 2, behind not only Bradley, Moore, Dooling, and Quisy, but now Pietrus, too.  And I'd put Pavlovic on that list as well.

So...why bother?

Bob is OVERPAID.
He is scheduled making 7 million this year and 9 million his last year (In 2 years, but the team has a 1 year option worth 9.8 million). We can get better for that kind of money.

that is a bit much next year but that's Perk money.  He's a better rebounder and defender than Perk.

If the goal was to keep cap room for 2013 instead of 2012 when there's a much better crop of FA's, getting Sideshow for a couple of years wouldn't be the worst thing they could do.  He can at least run the court and finish on a break.

What is in it for Cleveland to take that trade? Two low impact draft picks, a bust, and a washed up center for their possibly their best player?

I like that picture of a house on fire, that deserves a tommy point.

The rationale from Cleveland's perspective would be the following:
1. Losing AV puts improves their own pick.  Top 10 easily, top 5 likely.
2. Upcoming Deep draft, they'd have 1 top 5-ish pick, a 15-18, and one probably in the top 5 of the second round.
3. AV contract comes of the books replace by expiring deals.  He is not a franchise player by any means.  He is a solid role player and more valuable to a team that needs a complimentary player rather than a team that needs someone to build around.    Cleveland's cap situation would be excellent after this year and next.
4. AB is an OK prospect.

So, not sure that's enough to sway Cleveland, but JJJ is also a possibility and the C's #1 would be in play to replace the NJ pick.

I don't think it's a bad haul -- young prospect, 2 draft picks, lowering your own pick and improved salary flex -- in return for a  center who is worth more to Boston right now than he is to Cleveland.  AV is 30. By the time Cleveland's youth is ready, AV will be aging.
