well it seems like phx's 1st round might be a top 10 this year MIGHT , if were able to get a top 10 pick from them & trade our other 2 picks to move up in the draft & draft.....Austin Rivers

more money with nash off the books, with just austin we can go after guys like oj mayo , & other young pieces heck even Jeff green too

The only places Nash should go is NY or Miami.
Signed to a 6 year $0 contract with the Celtics Blog forum!

biggest differences btw Nash and Rondo right now:

Nash=much better shooter, better maturity and leadership, too old and can't play defense

Rondo=much younger, faster, more athletic, knows our system, can't shoot, has attitude issues, and often choses not to play defense

still, no way I trade Rondo for Nash right now, Rondo is our only valuable asset and we are about to dive into rebuilding this summer
What does "attitude problems" mean? Every human being has attitude problems because we all posess emotion. I dont want robots on my favorite team, I want people, who, besides what they show on the court, have unique personalities that cause teams like the 2004 idiot red sox to exist.

Steve Nash=incredible vision, great passer tough as nails player

at this point in his career he is 2nd tier to rondo, paul, williams & rose and unlike this group is near the end of his career

Who told you that Rondo is top tier with the other 3 names you mention?
Most people on this forum after his triple double. I know Rondo haters like to peak their heads out whenever he has a bad game and say I told you so.

Austin Rivers most likely is not a top 10 pick. If we got in top ten, we would be looking at guys like Michael Gilchrist, Jared Sullinger, Quincy Miller. You guys need to research these up and comers and see whos hot.

I can't see the Suns throwing in their draft pick on top of Nash and Gortat.

Nash = old player with no defense

We are going to have to bite the bullet and get young not older.  I for one no longer think we are one piece away from winning.  We are at least two.

I can't see the Suns throwing in their draft pick on top of Nash and Gortat.

They get the best player (present and future) in the deal AND get something for Nash. They get nothing if he expires.

For these reasons,I think they would at the very least go for swapping picks with us if not give it up outright.

Rondo's is a "sure thing" getting him has gotta be worth at least swapping picks.

Maybe im misunderstanding but im saying Austin Rivers will probably be at the end of the lottery. I would very much like to draft him if we have picks in that region, but there are even better players we can pick if we are in the top 10.

ohh okay i was misunderstanding sorry & really? i think his stats are misleading being that coach K wont just let him own the ball & be the scorer that he really is ,if he was on another team he'd average 20 plus in my opinion to his 15.3 he's averaging now he has star quality in my opinion
