Out Jermaine "I'm in pain" Oneal, A. Bradley, K. Dooling,
 and two first round picks.

In comes Jason Thompson, Tyreke Evans.

For the Kings they are tired of having a team of Morons so they ship out the #2 moron Evans, and see if they can build around Cousins and Jimmer plus load up with three firsts in a strong draft.

For us we role the dice with Evans, see if Doc, and Kevin, and Ray, and Paul can get though to him.

We keep the starting five in tact, and he comes off the bench, as a gunning shooting guard, slash point guard . He's 6'6" and wirey, strong, quick, and athletic. I think he MIGHT be a nice fit and it's worth the small risk of Danny taking suspect talent in the Draft.

Why not? We need SOMETHING Dynamic, this year to have a good shot at winning, were so close, but not quite there.

No brainer is right. The GM in Sacramento would have to not have a brain to agree with this trade.

You just can't think we can trade away 2 picks and bad players for a useful backup center and a star SG who is only 22 years old? Its just not even remotely realistic.

If they won't give us Tyreke straight up for Avery Bradley, we should say no!

Is it that crazy? They get 2 firsts after all.

i like the idea, but they need to do sonething about tyreke in the sence that he's not a PG tyreke & marcus are 2 young SG'S who are looking to score tyreke had his best year when d.udoh was running the point

now say for the thread's sake they gave up on tyreke & wanted to nove foward with thorton

i'd trade rondo/JJJ/Moore/Bradley/Wilcox/Pavlocic & a 1st rounder for

Tyreke Evans/Cousins/thompson & salmons

kings new line up looks something like
Rondo/jimmer/thomas/bradley
Thorton/moore
Outlaw/pavlovic
hickson/wicox/jjj
hayes/wilcox/donte green

celtics look like
Dooling/daniels
evans/Allen
Pierce/Petrus/Salmons
KG/Bass/thompson
Cousins/j.o/greg

If they want to move forward with Thorton we don't have to give up Rondo and deal with 2 problem players since they're not going to value Tyreke as much now. Building around Rondo and Tyreke would be pretty awesome as we'd have mentors all around to make Reke grow up.

I think some are under valuing 1st round picks a bit too much or over valuing evans. Id probably do this deal but I font think the kings make out that poorly. If you are going to trade evans what would they be expecting to get back?

Two picks in the 20s for a young could be star?  How often does that happen in the NBA?

I dont think he is going to be a star. As far as "could be" I guess anyone could be a star so doesn't really mean much.

im not saying the kings would do this trade but I dont think they would get that much more for him if they were shopping him.

Any trade that the other team would not pick up the phone for is a no-brainer.

I don't think they would trade Evans straight up for Rondo, let alone for our garbage and a couple late first round picks.

Should try to get Cousins - and then see if he can be trained by Doc and the vets.

He's cheap, so if the Kings are serious about excising the cancer, it should be doable...

Why is Tyreke Evans a moron again?  I know he's had some issues but so has Rondo.

I thought this was going to at least be about Cousins.  Add me to the "Kings GM would have to have no brain" chorus here.  2 first rounders around 20 + are not worth Evans.  The guy is young and you're not getting comparable talent, combined even between two picks, at where where our firsts will end up being unless you get very lucky.

Is Tyreke evans that much more valuable than a jamal crawford or OJ Mayo?
