Need I remind everyone he had a fluke game last year too... and then proceeded to continue being terrible?

Personally, I'll continue playing the odds on this one. I predict: Gabe Pruitt-esque career.

It's funny, because when Pruitt was on this team hope sprang eternal for him as well. The moment we ditched him and he couldn't even find another team was when people were finally ready to admit he sucked.

After we drop Bradley at the end of this year, the exact same thing will happen. I'm calling it.

Exactly when did he proceed to continue being terrible when his one good game last year was the last game he played in last year?

He's had 3 pretty good games in a row. Each one getting better.

Defense inspires people.

I'm hoping Bradley's on ball hawking will kick start Rondo into going back to doing the same thing.

People hating on Bradley need to realize his complete lack of opportunity since entering the league. Given any amount of playing time he has always responded well.

His towel waving in the playoffs was awful, no effort at all.

Joking aside he was a non-entity till the last few games defensively.

Good, and I'll call you out when it doesn't happen.  ;)
The comparison to Pruitt is not fair.  Pruitt never had the head for the game and certainly not the skills.  I never recall putting any hope into him as a prospect, yet I don't do that for Bradley either, nor any other young player since Al Jefferson.  C's simply don't draft high enough for that.

Agreed. Gabe Pruitt doesnt have half the talent Bradley possess.. Bradley is going to be just fine just wait and see ;)

No.

Whenever he played, save for that final game against the Knicks last season against their backups, he was horrible.  Utterly, miserably, horrible.

Game that just stands out to me was when the team was nursing a 30 pt lead in the 4th quarter against Phoenix in March - he along with the rest of the backups were in seemingly to close out the game.  But Bradley couldn't get the ball out of the backcourt, and Aaron Brooks was getting steal after steal after steal to go with layup after layup after layup.  The lead went from 30 to 11 in about 5 minutes.  The starters had to come back in along with Big Baby to close out the game.  Rondo hit Baby late for a dunk and Baby landed awkwardly on his knee, got a sprained MCL, got fat as dung when he was out, and was horrible the rest of the season.

Don't  know what games you watch.

He's giving Doc a reason to keep him in the rotation after Ray returns and after (if?) Pietrus gets healthy.  If he keeps playing D like this, he'll keep getting 8-12 minutes/game, because most backup guards in the league aren't going to be able to handle that pressure.

Whether he's able to carve out a larger role for himself is going to depend on his continued development on the offensive side.

At this point, I think he's in the rotation unless he stops playing D.

Exactly Tommy even said it over the broadcast if he continues ball hawking and pressuring guys the way he has been hell see court time.

Bradley could be an option to guard not only  Wade but also LeBron. And sugar pair Ray Allen/DWade can play their own ball game together on both ends.

Bradley are often compared with Rondo and Tony Allen as good defender. But both Rondo and TA are advanced short size Lebron-stoppers. Why not Bradley as well?

Glen Davis was out there for about -10 points of that bad run, as was Ray Allen. Its not like Bradley was the only player to blame there.

Bradley sits and learns from Rondo, Dooling, and Ray while getting some good floor time in right now.  For a 21 yr old, this is perfect.  The development has started early for the kid and he's got time to improve.  Not sure why anyone wants to give up on him, or throw in the towel.  Defensively, he's ahead of the curve, while offensively he can create his own shot, but isn't shooting it at a high rate.  If he gets that down, watch out.

The organization has to be patient. Watching the way their using him, it looks like the organization is on the same page when it comes to Bradley.  The fan's ?  Not so much.

I think that people far too easily forget how little time that Avery has really gotten to properly improve.

He misses training camp after he's drafted because of an ankle injury, injuries to the Celtics during the season result in him being recalled from the D-league because we were literally running out of bodies to put on the floor, and then he misses an offseason chance AGAIN because of the lockout and the essentially non-existent preseason. Playing overseas is nothing compared to practicing with his NBA team.

Now that we actually have a healthy team, a reason to limit the load on the starters, and chances give the kid serious minutes, well blow me down, suddenly AB is steadily getting better before our eyes.

And that's just it.  As fans, we expect results right away.  Tough expectations for a frosh kid at 18/19 years of age.  Even at 21, Avery is still 2/3 years down the road from making a solid impact.  He can chip in right now here and there (especially defensively), but still has a ways to go.

The organization is going about it the right way IMO
