They played really well and almost beat the Heat in the previous game, and just knocked off Dallas tonight, and Rubio just kind of has the 'it' factor.  He came in at the end of the 3rd and just took over (with help from a couple of huge 3's by Love), and he really makes his team mates better.  Good stuff by them.  I'm happy for Minnesota.  For some reason, I've kind of rooted for them ever since we sent a bunch of our guys up there.

Rubio + Love is going to be a really nice combo for a long time.

I'd love to see the Wolves make some moves to get a real defensive center and some better wing defenders.  Do that, and they could be on their way to being very good.

Rubio should be starting. They are young and aren't going to contend this year... So with the way he has been playing there is really no reason for him not to be starting with this unit and grow and develop with Love and Beasley. I like the Wolves, they'll be pretty solid in a couple years if they can keep it in tact. They may even fight for the 8th seed this year (another stretch).

I'm still irritated that Kahn robbed us from seeing a Rubio / Curry backcourt.

Hey look at that, a playoff team!

Seriously . . .

Rubio / Ridnour / Barea
Ariza / Ellington / Bellineli
Williams / Webster
Love / Randolph
Okafor / Tolliver

Agree. They have so much talent. They just have to mesh and they will be a good team. Rubio is quite impressive.

Minnesota is probably the last team New Orleans wants to trade with, though.

I don't understand.  The Hornets are league owned / operated.  Does the league have something against the T-Wolves?

BTW, Okafor could just as easily be replaced with Kaman in that trade.  Not as good defensively but better offensively and bigger.  Would make the T-Wolves snow-white, though.  Not that that's a bad thing necessarily.

Kaman's not a good fit for the Wolves.  They need defense.

They own the Twolves #1 this year.  Making them better is a really bad idea.
