I know he's 6-10 But he's a better rebounder and scorer than oneal is right now anything is worth a try @ the moment

I want to give Jermaine O'Neal more time to show what level of performance he can truly give. He is still my first preference at center if he can give a solid defensive performance.

If after 12-15 games, JO hasn't given a good enough account of himself to hold onto the starter's position, then yes, Chris Wilcox would be my first choice replacement.

Yeah, give JO a little more time, but if he still looks like a non-factor on both ends of the floor -- or even if he's just useless offensively -- the Celtics should seriously consider Wilcox.  They need somebody who can finish inside in the starting lineup, and Wilcox fits the bill.  Bass is good, too, but he should stay as the 6th man on the bench.

I don't know.  Defense is our biggest problem right now, and Wilcox is a poor defender.

I think this is an interesting proposition.  Yeah, why not.  He probably is more active than JO at this point.  JO is really trying but, his age is showing....and KGs too.

Wilcox is quite a hacker.  Probably will foul out by mid third-quarter...

I have said before, JO will have a fit, if someone like Wilcox or any other player he thinks is less than he is, starts over him. "You're" probably thinking, what can he do.. play worse, haha?. No, but the bad vibes it would cause can hurt us worse than his playing! He was already a little miffed (it shows b/c he's been worse than the hurt JO last season) that we wanted and tried hard to trade him! Wonder why us trying to trade him isn't being factored into his deep bench level play? I really believe JO might still be mad... he said (looks) like he put in a lot of work this off-season... he might be thinking... all this work I did and they are trying (in the CP3 and DWest trade) to ship me out! He even said he's going to Miami if we trade him! Something is up w/ him!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

This could be true. And everybody loves to see a player work hard. But he still needs to understand that some players actually is way better than what he produces for us. If he really wants to stay, he just needs to prove that he belongs! Its really immature to suck this team up, cuz he mad over we tried to trade him..
