Why is Rivers re-inserting the starting lineup in a blowout?

Because the Pistons were starting to get a little run going, and the starters barely played tonight. With the way KG has played so far, it might be good for him to get some more run.

The offense is so ugly without Rondo or Pierce.  Dooling, Ray and Daniels leave a lot to be desired as passers/decision makers.

Up by 18, 7 minutes left, and Doc puts Ray and KG back in instead of Moore and JJJ... uh, what?

I suppose there is something to be said about respecting the opponent with some much time left.

I think a good compromise would be to incorporate one young guy with a group of vets, rather than all at once.

Yeah but doc really likes playing people as a group and seeing as they probably won't play alot together...

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
If we blow this lead I am going to cry...

Don't worry, the Pistons offense is too bad to score 16 more points tonight.

Fair point.

Still, if there are injuries/foul trouble those rotations sometimes go awry.

At some point, you've gotta see what you got in real game situations.

Why exactly?

In the playoffs rotations tighten and the experienced guys play more. Its not like Doc is going to be running the rookies out there in the playoffs when the schedule will actually lighten up this year as compared to the cramped regular season.

Doc may also be using garbage time as a form of training camp since ther was such a short one this season.

And by the way, if JO can play every night like this, there will be no need to worry about the center position.

Good game and victory number one on the way.  :)
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
