I see Monroe has a backup for KG. Great rebounder and passer.
What about Aldrich? He is un upgrade over Stiesma

Would you make this trade?

Dumars would kindly tell Ainge to go **** himself.

Besides, why stop there? We could totally just ask for this:

Deal is bad for NO.   I don't want to get rid of Bass as he is our scoring punch from the bench right now.

Trading Monroe + Maxiell for Okafor and a 2012 first (and or AB) is not that bad for Detroit.
They can get 2 top 20 players in the draft + Okafor (Size, Rebound and Toughness)

Happy new year to everybody

I really want Monroe now that you've brought this up but I want Bass too. Agh.

monroe was the 7th pick last year/ year before?
he hasn't done anything to disappoint detroit, in fact i'd think detroit is looking to make him there building block.
i don't see them trading him.
and, at this point in their careers, and in the celtics window, i'd rather have okafor. Man, talk about picking up the defensive slack, he would look good next to KG.

So the OP is saying we need a Tony Allen type and a Kendrick Perkins type player and we are back in contention?

LOL.

Where could we get those guys?

Monroe would look good in green

We don't have the assets to trade for him and he doesn't play defense.
