all I know... every time jo went out we played better...
He was only a -5 and we were a -8 as a team.

Wilcox isn't playing spectacular either (and seems to be hurt?) and you can't play Bass and KG 48 mins a piece.

The team does not have a real center, but maybe they don't need one. All I know is that JO looks washed up and ven 22 minutes is too much.

We need Bass off the bench, but yeah JO wasn't doing much out there. With Wilcox hurting his shoulder, sounds like we'll see our first JJJ action tomorrow.
what happened to Wilcox?

Strained his shoulder

I have no problem with Sasha starting. I do like Doc trying to maintain consistency with the bench. Regular season games should be one long preseason because it's very important to get the new guys acclimated and settled into their roles in time for the playoffs. Sasha isn't setting the world on fire but he's been OK given his current abilities and the tough defensive assignments he's had so far.

I like Bass as a sparkplug off the bench. I don't know if he's ready for extended minutes. But we really do need another young and athletic starter to balance the lineup. Pity the options out there at center are so limited.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Hurt his shoulder, x-rays were negative. Not much info on it past that.

theres "not being able to guard" and then there's "being a huge liability against and not contributing anything else"

So are you saying start Bass at PF, KG at C, and Quis at SF?

I'd prefer to see the unit that was finishing the game tonight.

Rondo - Dooling - Ray - Bass - KG

That's probably our best all-around unit right now.

I don't know that you have to dump Quis or even Sasha yet, it's not like we're going against Melo/LeBron at sf every game.

true, but I think that is the best all-around lineup, and regardless of the SF matchup with the other team, the Celtics should look to start out the game strong with their best unit on the floor.  keep daniels on the second unit.  he provides a good steadying presence there.

I like Bass, but the real concern is having an impact center (JO and Wilcox are not answers). They can't go all year with this rotation.

Bass is doing just great playing the 4 right now. I doubt he'll play much center this season (since KG obviously needs to start too).
