KG isnt a scorer anymore
allen cant get passed his man anymore

i dont kno who but we need someone any ideas on who?

oj mayo is the only guy i can think of thats in the market

I got one: Rajon Rondo. He doesn't need to hit 23 footers, he just needs to drive the hole and make layups or take the FT's. That alone opens up space to let these great shooter hurt teams. Even if he's on;y hitting 60-70% of his free throw the fouls and need to protect the rim alone help the spacing. It worked perfectly in 1st half of 2010/2011. And his aggressiveness in two games has led to plenty of scoring, it's the lack of a real center that hurts us more (dreaming of Perkins.... :(

He's gonna get injured at that rate.

Why not Orange Juice Mayonnaise?

Paul Pierce...

But yeah, our offense is atrocious. I dont under the logic... Rondo dribble down... Overload one side with the player. Pass to the PF in the post. And let them do work for 12 to 13 seconds, and then thats it... If thats the type of offense we are going to run why not have just kept Big Baby.

I agree, OJ would be my first choice. After that JR Smith though im not sure how easy it would be to get him. The other dark horse would be to get Brandon Roy to give it another try.

How about paul pierce?

im not sure pierce is really that guy anymore.

I think we'll find that Paul Pierce can still play the game at a high level.

Leandro Barbosa is my favorite target.  Stuck on a bad Toronto team.  Expiring contract.  Good shooter.  Very fast.  Good up-tempo player.  Can penetrate and finish/draw fouls.

A three team deal with Clippers sending JO to LA (to shore up their big man rotation), Barbosa to Boston, and Randy Foye and a couple of our 2nd round picks to Toronto.

Edit- this would be contingent on getting another big like Przybilla or Dampier in free agency.
That's a guy I would definitely be interested in to replace Bradley, just not for JO.  He's definitely still got the talent, I think he's just been forced into poor efficiency down in Toronto.

We've got the guys to play at his type of pace, not what he was used to in Phoenix, but I think Rondo/Dooling, Barbosa, Pietrus, JJJ/Wilcox, and Bass would be the fastest second unit.

In reality, I don't think our offense really needs any changes (in personnel, I would definitely be open to a new system).  Especially if we start getting some of these calls from the refs.

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa

I am a fan of this idea too.

Barbosa would be a really nice contrast to Rajon Rondo off the bench. The thoroughbred scorer behind one of the elite facilitators in today's game. Give opposing teams a completely different look to deal with when Rondo steps off the court.

Barbosa would give great service both backing up Rondo and playing alongside him while also backing up Ray Allen at the two spot.

We're too thin (and short) at center as it is.  Trading JO for a more washed up, less talented, center doesn't solve that.

Keyon Dooling, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Marquis Daniels, not sure about Etaun Moore. Look for solutions from within. I don't think OJ Mayo is that easily attainable as I keep seem to be reading from you guys.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Monta Ellis

Yeah, that's probably the only guy out there the Celtics could conceivably trade for.  But I don't think he'd be worth it.

You're probably right...He's one of those guys who hucks the ball at the rim a million times a game and increases his point total. Regardless, he is a good shooter and possibly with guidance from Doc it could work. Last year when we versed GS, everything he shot went in.

JR Smith. We say to him take the min this year then we'll take care of you the next (or we imply it as to not get penalized by the league. That would allow us to sign a free agent and then give him big money after the fact.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

That's a guy I would definitely be interested in to replace Bradley, just not for JO.

JO, Bass, Wilcox and Dooling are the only disposable expiring contracts of sufficient size to make a trade for someone like Barbosa possible.

I'd rather move JO and play small and quick up front (3-man rotation of KG, Bass and Wilcox, hopefully with a beefy pick-up like Dampier or Przybilla for situational use) then continue on without better scoring options off the bench.

Dooling/Bradley is a terrible back-up guard duo.  There's a reason Rondo's leading the league in minutes played, with Ray pretty close behind.  And it's not like the KG/JO tandem is paying defensive dividends (KG has lost so much quickness that I don't think they should play together against all but the slowest teams).

2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler
