  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Watching the thunder game...He is so fluid!

These bounce passes are amazing! I am in awe - I'm drawing comparisons to Magic, John Stockton. This guy is amazing!

A decade from now, he is going to be one of the model points of this generation.

I looked up his stats on google before, and I was not impressed at all. No eye popping stats worth mentioning. I also looked up his highlights, but seeing them in-game is a better experience.

On a side note, Derrick Williams is quite an explosive player - good combo, him and Ricky Rubio.

Im just waiting for the trade Rubio for Rondo thread to start...

But he dose look good. Wolves might have a really good team in a couple years from now with some good moves.

Rondo with less speed/athleticism and a little more confidence shooting the J.  Fun to watch.

That T-wolves team will be good if they can get a real defensive big man.  Too many offense-only PFs and tweeners.

I agree, the Wolves should look to be contenders in future years.

It's too bad he's not a stellar defender. He's pretty good, but nowhere near Rondo, defensive wise.

How about just saying he can pass like Rondo if there are so many differences?

He is also a few inches taller. In fact, he is taller than all the elite PGs in the league right now at 6'4".

  • Rondo = Good
T-Wolves and Rubio looked good.

Adelman is one of my favorite coaches.  I'm not surprised the Wolves are already looking much more like a real team.

Rubio is a superior passer and reads the offense much better than Rondo, at least to this point. We'll have to see if the trends continues, but so far very impressed on how he runs an offense. He just has a knack for ball speed and ball positioning, simply accurate passes which has been my main beef with Rondo's passing game.

And he doesn't turn the ball over.

TP. I've heard a lot of people tell me Rubio is bound to be, if not already, a better floor general than CP3.

Let's keep in mind that he just got to the NBA, and has barely practiced with this guys, and is probably running plays called from Adelman.

But let's wait and see.

Rondo's the best passer in the game.  I guess, based on this one game, Rondo has now been relegated to second best passer in the NBA.

Wow!! Rubio really must be good.

Other than I've never felt Rondo was the best passer in the game. Never liked his passing ability, it has been a constant complaint of mine that his passes are often inaccurate. What he does well is find open people, which is not the same as putting the ball in the right spot. It's often that he's sloppy with his passes, it's often that he makes passes harder than it should be, faster than it should be, etc.

No.  He makes passes with frequency that no one else can make, and he delivers them perfectly.  Your evaluation of his passing ability is shockingly off target.

Yes, Rondo is an infallible god.
