I was just reading the box score and I'm curious...is the NBA allowing 13 players active this season?  The box score only lists Pierce and Pietrus as inactive, and 13 players available, while some were DNP-CD.

Did they change the rule and I missed it?

Yes - because of the lockout teams can have 13 active players til sometime in February I think.

they can let them have 15 active players, it still won't stop them from looking totally sloppy after the long layoff and short training camp

Warriors look alright against the Clippers. Messy though, on both sides.

Scratch that, Warriors are still quite bad.

Yeh, even Griffin came down from his pedestal a bit in this game. They look confused, a bit like just another Hornets team.

So, I guess the Clippers just decided to turn it on at the very end of the game.  Like, "oh yeah, we're way more talented than this team.  cool."
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

Yup. Historically a typical trap game anyway, Warriors after lockout. Luckily they turned it on in the end.

The Mavs must be really desperate if they think Vince Carter will start for them. Ouch.
That starting lineup has lost a fair bit of quickness in athleticism in downgrading from Tyson Chandler and DeShawn Stevenson to Vince Carter and Brendan Haywood.

Looked a lot slower to the ball.

What's up with Dallas? :o

They are getting steamrolled in DAL...by DEN, this time.

It's the half and still some time to play, but still...27 pts down is a bit much.

I think theyre still finding out how to play as a team. remember, this is basically a whole new team from last year...they lost 6players from their championship team and replaced them with 6new players in a shortened offseason.

its a long season, theyll get it together at some point. theres alot of talent on that team

Good point. I had forgotten that they had more moving parts than just Tyson going to NY.

I'm just not used to seeing them getting beat like this.

The Timberwolves are fun to watch.  Rubio and Barea put so much pressure on opposing teams.

Giving OKC all they can handle.
